Sue Bird FTW!

Another last second shot from Sue Bird for the win.  Got a great shot this time with Katie Smith's inbound pass happening right in front of me.  I'm pretty sure I was inside the lines at :20 (in the video) when the Conn player shot her last ditch effort shot, but hey, I got my shot and the refs didn't say anything to me!

I Love My Bike Book

Just over a year ago, I went out and shot this "I Love My Bike Book" video for CHS.  It was completely spur of the moment, I saw Justin's tweet about these guys being down at Cal Anderson so I went down and shot for an hour or so, and then had the video up the same day.

Since then the video has been all over the place, instead of the usual spike in views for a couple days and then quick drop-off, this one has been pretty consistent over the past year.  I don't know if I'd say it's gone viral but it's definitely made a lot of appearances on various blogs and bike forums and as of today has over 5,000 views.

Anyways... the Book is out!  I just got my free copy in the mail, and the publisher, San Fransisco's Chronicle Books, is featuring my video.  So go check it out!

Storm ReCap Documentary

We're finally getting close to releasing the 2010 Seattle Storm Highlight DVD, which Storm fans have been bugging me about all off-season.  Players watched it last week and apparently it went over well.  The goal was to make something as memorable as the My Oh My video was for so many Mariners fans in 1995, and I really couldn't be happier with how it turned out.  If you want a copy, you have to buy season tickets!

Vernon Florida in Tennessee

Check out this country scene I stumbled across while shooting for What's Cooking? in rural Tennessee.

It felt straight out of one of my favorite documentaries, Vernon Florida (clips below), only these guys were much more coherent.  The guy in the rocking chair told me "if you're gonna take my picture it's gonna cost you!"

This guy is my favorite.
